2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Learn & Earn Korean, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
3. The Service
Learn & Earn Korean provides a Korean language learning platform where users can:
- Complete Korean language lessons (Hangul, K-Pop, full sentences)
- Earn points by finishing lessons and activities
- Redeem points for digital or physical rewards
- Track learning progress, streaks, and achievements
4. Eligibility
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
5. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts are not permitted.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
6. Points & Rewards
- Points are earned by completing lessons and eligible in-app activities.
- Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Points may not be transferred between accounts.
- We reserve the right to modify point values, reward availability, and redemption conditions at any time.
- Physical rewards are shipped via Korea Post (EMS). Delivery times vary by destination and are not guaranteed.
- Once a reward redemption order is placed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded unless the item is defective or not delivered.
- Fraudulent point accumulation (e.g. use of bots, exploiting bugs) will result in immediate account termination without notice.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to complete lessons or earn points
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the service
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content
- Interfere with the service's availability or other users' experience
8. Intellectual Property
All content — including lessons, characters, quiz content, design, and software — is owned by 체크앤밸런스 and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, accuracy of content, or specific language learning outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 체크앤밸런스 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.
11. Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
- You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account.
- Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days (except where legal retention is required).
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court (서울중앙지방법원) as the court of first instance.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of significant changes via in-app notification or email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
